Best monitor for Melee?

I am getting into super smash melee, and it seems a tube tv/crt tv is best for playing it. Any other conderderations I should take into account, or will any tube tv be good?

Small to mid sized projection tv's are amazing if you can deal with one but even on a gaming monitor or old crt works well enough. on a side note, cant wait for switch smash

smash 5 will be great but no game cube controllers -_-
