Monitor has no signal/usb's not working

So I was playing a game when out of nowhere my computer shut itself off and back on. Once it was turning on my keyboard or mouse didnt light up witch is odd and my monitor didnt do anything. My computer lights work fine and the computer sounds fine, no loud noises. Anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks!

i assume the front USB ports don't work either, correct?

That is correct. And thank you. The computer doesnt turn it self off and the lights will stay on. The computer that is. My monitor. Keyboard. And mouse won't work.
