Looking for a list of cards that...

Cheex18

Don’t require a power cable and run off PCIE bus power only. I’m looking to toss a card in my little nephews computer so he has play games with my kids. I know the 750 TI is a decent option but what else is out there. Looking for cheap used cards as he may never really play. Any help I’d appreciate it.

A 750Ti used can usually be had for about 50 USD, that's just about as good as they come. I believe the GTX 950 doesn't require PCIe power as well but I'm not sure where those are at currently.

But. 750TI is like $60-$70 CAD and a 1050TI is hundreds. It’s not about best card out these it’s about what the card needs to do and how little I need to spend to make that happen.

If you want to go budget, get a GT1030. If you don't care, get a GTX 1050Ti.

The 750Ti is cheaper than the 1030 and is slightly more powerful.

Which is why you can find them at really low prices now. They shouldn't be affected by cryptocurrency mining, as I'm sure it isn't profitable.

Yes, they aren't profitable, although they may have been used for cyptocurrency mining before.
