Getting random alerts for stuff I'm not looking at?

I keep getting random alerts for stuff that I'm not even looking at which is really bothersome, I was last looking at the news area.

Do you have a hidden minimized window anywhere? It happens to me at work all the time

Its a new google chrome thing. It will show up even of you dont have chrome open. Itll also show you when someone you have notifications for uploads. I dont have a problems but look and se eif there is a way to disable it.

I hAve an unfinished pc build. Pls dont bully for not having one yet or i cry.

Only had one chrome tab, I do remember looking at the thread and closing the tab so I don't know if that's classing it as "Looking"?

That notification can only be sent if the tab is currently open (it's not the same system as for follow notifications, which will display if any ltt tab is open, or the system used by YouTube (which works even if youtube isn't open)). There is no way for a notification like that to be sent when the tab is closed, so it can only have been caused by having left the tab open in a window that you forgot about (minimised, different virtual desktop, etc), or because Chrome is doing something extremely weird and not at all sensible.
