PS4 Pro Noise

Hi all, my ps4 pro started making this noise tonight

 

It also makes the noise in rest mode, any help would be greatly appreciated

Does it download some stuff? 

Fan could be working on sleep mode some time after you turn it on.

Rest mode actually uses a LOT of power.  Rest mode is NOT like a PC being asleep where it sips down some 0.5w or so.  The PS4's 'Rest Mode' allows nearly the full system to operate.

thanks for the reply, thats a fair power draw in rest mode, wasnt downloading etc when in rest mode, spoke to a few fold who think its a HDD issue, they said the cuh-7016 pro is the worst model, apparently the newer model is alot quieter etc and no hdd issue

Wasnt downloading anything, didnt even have a disc in the drive, sonys taking it back so lets see what they say / do
