Ive got free avast that has no firewall and looks like either does kesperskye. The only one on is the microsoft one and I tried turning that one off It did nothing.

 

Have you tried disabling both the firewall(s) and the antiviruses at the same time? Seems unlikely to me to be caused by that, but it's worth a shot.

Interesting.. Did you check if other webpages loaded when you were pinging google.com and .co.za?  It didn't seem to redirect to the other ip like it did before.

Fuck maybe I was wrong. It went upto 80% usage at one point and fans ramped up lol.

Interesting.. Did you check if other webpages loaded when you were pinging google.com and .co.za?  It didn't seem to redirect to the other ip like it did before.

Ill try that after the scans complete coz it frezzes when I try to do something else. Lol and i7's are meant to be multitaskable.

Well you get the point no viruses or whatsoever. P.s. fkn hell mechanical hdd are load im gonna see if I can get a refund on the fucked up 3tb one and save for a 1TB evo.

Can you completly flash/format an ssd to stock like brand new? @Sheldon and @Kefuren? Thinking of doing that and getting windows 8.1.

Ok srsly WTF?!?!? If I put https://*website* then other webites besides hotmail and Facebook load. Like wtf evem google loads as long as I type https:// infront of them. Im really confused @Sheldon and @Kefuren.

Wait do you play games? If you do, don't go with windows 8.1. Stick to 7. Yes. Its the same as a HDD to a point, Just check in the hard drives/ SDD side. I can only be sure of networking and normal troubleshooting :P lol

Chrome. Firfox loads and searches in google but when I click on links to other pages than google it doesnt connect.

How many people have gone to windows 8.1? Most people I know went to windows 8.1 and then dropped down to 7 ( Gaming, that I don't know. )
