xmr GPU OC Monero mining

I own a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X. 

I currently mine XMR with it.

How can I improve the hashrate?

Overclocking the core or the memory? Maybe even underclocking the core?

I´ve checked a lot of threads. But I can´t really find an answer to that

max memory, turn down the core clock by 100-200mhz, and undervolt the living shit out of it until it becomes unstable, then add abit more in. start with the undervolting (try to get the core as low as possible without dropping hashrate too much, once you find that start undervolting the core until it crashes. once you get the core and undervolt setup start cranking on the memory until it crashes.

 

to improve things look into bios modding, there should be plenty of old 290 mining bios's around

Is that dangerous?
