Hello,

I'm looking to purchase these RGB fans from corsair, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CO-9050067-WW-Individually-Addressable-Controller/dp/B01LA0R2X6/ref=gbps_tit_m-5_4ace_5f04cfd9?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_p=b5d2cbd6-1446-485e-ab07-aa0777e84ace&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=14235985031&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=FQG5GEM99TB6WWJQXH13&th=1

But from what I can tell from the description is that they can only be controlled by the included lighting controller. Is there anything else that I can buy to control these fans through software/

Thanks,

Max

What you need to check is if they come with the Corsair LIGHTING NODE PRO. If they do, you can control them through software. If not, only hardware. The corsair COMMANDER PRO does the same thing, but with different options. The best config is using both at the same time. Each lighting node pro will control up to 12 fans before you would need another as each lighting channel has 2 led strips or 6 fans. Both the Commander Pro and Lighting node pro require a usb 2.0 header but the commander pro has a few extra on it.

Ah ok, that makes sense.

Thanks for clearing that up. Thanks to everyone else as well, this really helped me.

Can I use HD120s and LL120s on the same channel?

Not sure. Will probably just want to ask corsair.
