Security Warning Window

Crunchy Dragon

Whenever I open my laptop and log into Windows, I get a weird pop up window that doesn't go away until I click "no" or close it multiple times.

securityalert.jpg.a1a2dcec58f73409e1ccfd42be1a3d40.jpg

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit.

It's related to Skype(I can't minimize my Skype window when this window is open and it does the flashing binging thing Windows does when I try to minimize things like that). Is there any way to make it go away and stay away other than clicking "yes"? If I click "yes", what will it do?

Stupid question: is the date/time on your PC right? Back when I actually used Skype the time on my PC got all messed up and caused that dialog to pop up.

Welp all I can suggest now is the normal reinstall since I haven't used Skype in a longass time (aka back when Windows 8.1 was basically brand new).

What does the certificate say when you click "show certificate"? That should give you an indicator of what content Skype is trying to load.

Are you connecting to the internet through a vpn (like a school/work pc)?

It's the remote desktop thing Skype has. I clicked yes earlier today just to see what would happen and it hasn't popped up since then...It might be a thing that happens when I restart Skype or my PC, I did both pretty recently.

And no, I'm connecting just in my house normally.
