So I sent in my damaged Strix 1080 (broken fan hitting the heatsink while spinning) I get a 1080ti refunded.
However from googling (granted, not alot.. I have no idea where to look) I noticed the 1080ti under load is using about 70watt more than the 1080, and my good ol' RM650 powersupply might not be enough anymore.
Just checking if anyone knows off the top of their head if it should still be fine with a bit of extra overclocking.
Here's my entire system in case you need to know:
i7 7700k
16Gb of ram
Asus Z270F
H100i
Samsung 840 Evo 250 gigs
Kingston (forgot the exact name) 500 and 120 gigs
Corsair RM650 PSU

A 650 PSU is more than enough for a 1080ti

Edit: The 1080 I had was a 1080 Strix and the one I'm getting is the 1080Ti EVGA SC2
