Do you guys have any ideas on how i could run a game on my pc and then run a game on the steam link which in a other room. Main pc running tf2 and then steam link running tf2 as well or other games

Ahhh the major downside with Steam In-Home streaming.

 

It might be possible if you setup a Virtual Machine that has GPU Passthrough (With it's own dedicated GPU) - install Steam on it, and try to Stream from the VM to the link.

 

You'd need to use a Virtual Machine host that supports PCIe/GPU Passthrough.

The link streams your game it doesn’t allow you to play another game

Oh.

In that case, I'd imagine assuming you have two Steam accounts, you could run one instance on a virtual machine and stream that to the Link and run the other instance on the main OS.

Ah yes, having two accounts - I did not consider that in my first post. Most likely you're correct.
