A way to stop unwanted tech news and reviews posts,

I think we all have ran into the posts in tech news and reviews that don’t being their, mostly I see people posting their own reviews or their own news in it.

 

my thought on a way to fix it is to move the member reviews next to the tech news sub forum.

 

people typically look for a place to post until they see one they think is fit, most people don’t read them all to see if there is a better one, and since tech news and reviews is on top people see the word reviews and go “okay this must be where I post this”. 

 

Yes I know they should read the post that’s says read before posting but it’s just not how the human mind works. They rather just post away and not read it. 

 

Maybe the issue is not big enough to warrant this but it will cause less confusion.

Honestly I think the subforum should just be called "Tech News"

 

But if you see one in the wrong place, report it and move on

You have to think of it from a logical standpoint, most of them are peolle

yelling at them for posting in the wrong spot and that can also lead to a less friendly understating of the community, not that it’s super friendly to start with
