Is my color banding bad?

Its not even really noticeable in games unless it’s a really dark area

What connections are you using? Would recommend using DP (DisplayPort) for those resolutions.

This isn't an individual monitor problem, it's merely a limitation of panels that support a more limited color gamut. If it bothers you enough then you can sell the monitor and get another one with wider color support. If you're just playing games or watching movies then I'd just run with it. Having the extra colors and a smoother gradient is only truly valuable if you're doing content creation or some sort of work that causes you to need to adjust the colors you're seeing.
