ryzen 5 1600vs1400

now i know the differnce between both i already posted a topic yesterday about my new build but im still asking is the 1400 good for gaming and audio engineering software such as protools cuz i might go and build a pc right now but im on a very low budget 
oc build i wanna get 
ryzen 1400 or 1600
8gb ram gonna upgrade it asap
asus b 350 
gtx 1050ti (gonna upgrade it after 2 months minimum) will probably get 1070 
600w evga psu 
1tb hdd (i know that ssd is better this is just for now)

The R5 1600 is obviously the superior choice due to the extra two cores, but the R5 1400 still does quite decently. I'd say that if you're really tight on money, then the R5 1400 is fine.

 

Also, instead of getting some EVGA 600 W1 or EVGA 600B, get the Corsair CX450/M.

ok but will it bottleneck im putting a gtx 1070 i just wanna make sure that its gonna be fine cuz i had a i7 4770 which was good so 4 cores and 4 threads is fine for my work but i just wanna see if i can be compared to an i7

It will depend on the game and resolution. But don't worry about bottlenecks, you'll be fine.

On a 60 Hz monitor?In most games, no, even a dual core pentium performs very well.

i always game on a 144hz since i play csgo alot but ill buy 60hz first then upgrading

i think people get caught up in that the 1600 is wayy better and ignore that the 1400 is still amazing for the money, not as good as a 1600 for price to performance but if you cant stretch for a 1600 then youll be fine
