Cheap Used LGA 1366 Motherboard?

Hey guys! I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for a super cheap used 1366 ATX motherboard? Everything on eBay is either really expensive or dual CPU workstation/server.

I have a Xeon W3530 in my NAS currently, but it's a Dell motherboard and it's BTX form factor :(

Long story short, I'm running out of HDD space and I have an Antec Titan 650 server case, but no motherboard!

Any ideas are welcome :)

There aren't really any cheap 1366 mobo's available.

I'm not sure I understand your problem correctly. Is the issue that the Dell BTX-board doesn't fit your case, or you can't connect any more HDD's?

If you have a PCIe slot available on the Dell board, you could use an expansion card for more SATA ports if you want to use more HDD's

Yeah, the problem is that the motherboard that I currently have is BTX form factor, and impossible to find a case for. (I honestly don't know why Intel ever created BTX boards)

I already have a bigger case, all I need is a MB but like you said, there's none that are cheap :/

I would hate to have to buy a CPU and a MB again.

I guess finding a new case would be cheaper than a 1366 mobo, maybe you could mod/make your own case?

If not, you could probably find a cheap mobo and CPU on a different platform for less than just a 1366 mobo. An old 771 server board with a Xeon (or two) is super cheap and plenty powerful enough for a NAS

You know you could be right, had a quick look and the MB and CPU's are super cheap.

But would non-hyperthreading CPU's be ok? I have a Plex server running and it does alot of transcoding on the fly.

Maybe dual CPU setup? Also need a dual CPU power suppy
