Questions about GTAV modding

I've figured out how to download Redux using this video. But if let's say I want more mods (e.g LA roads, 4K rage water...) do I just put them in the mods folder?
I've tried installing the mods to the main directory of the game and after that none of the mods worked so I reinstalled GTAV since I probably screwed it.
* What do I do if I want to change graphical modes to like PhotoVision?
* What's the fastest way to disable mods so I can get back to online quicker?

Yes you need to install it in mods folder but you also need to correctly replace which file the mod is using. Try check readme of that specific mods.
