I iz doomed?

Over the last few months my windows crashed a lot of time, giving me the c drive error message during rebooting. I reinstalled my windows everytime, and could only run it less than a week.

This time, I can't set up my windows as it can't read my c drive when I try to select it to install the windows. The boot speed was awefully slow as well.

The question may be rhetorical and stupid, but is my hdd dead or is it something else?

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite c850 laptop, and been running windows 8 on it.

put that HDD in another system and download crystal disk, it will read the SMART status. Its either dying or its a extremely wired virus.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

"i iz doomed" ----@Triple_D....the kid whom made too many partitions! I have to start a quote book for people like this.

You may have a boot file issue and that shit won't get fixed without proper maintenance and that is from the start of install, i feel you should save all your needed data while you can, then reformat the disk and then reinstall windows before you get a fail boot or a corrupted disk.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.
