Hi,

I'm looking for a laptop which can handle all the programs mentioned in the tags (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro).

I will be using all of the programs through school work, so I'd like something than can comfortably handle the programs.

I'm not completely sure what to look for, so I'd like some help.

I would prefer having a windows machine, compared to a macbook.

My budget is 1000$ maximum, but anything a fair bit below it would be okay too (I live in Denmark so i have to put 25% on top of everything).

Also, any advice on how important getting a screen with a resolution above 1920x1080 is?

So are you actually going to travel around and use those programs on the go?

Kinda.

We visit a lot of studios and are usually required to bring our own latops.

We also work in "teams", which means i'll be studying at various locations and not just at home.

Honestly anything above 1080p at 15.6" is a little overkill. You will barely be able to discern any difference. If you want a nice looking screen, just get something with a matte finish and an IPS panel and then color calibrate it.

If you get the 7567 I would definitely either get it with IPS or plan to swap the panel yourself. If you swap it yourself you can get a 72% NTSC / 91% sRGB IPS panel instead of the 45% NTSC / 55%-70% sRGB IPS panel it offers for that option. Still much better than the poor TN panel, but not as good if you want higher potential for color accuracy.

91% sRGB replacement panel: https://www.amazon.com/AU-OPTRONICS-B156HAN01-2-SUBSTITUTE-REPLACEMENT/dp/B00JMM89NC/

Also refurbs in the Dell outlet - again I'd either get one with the IPS 45% NTSC display, or get one with the poor TN panel and swap it yourself for an IPS 72% NTSC display.

Another option is the Clevo N850HK1, through Eluktronics who uses 72% NTSC / 82%-90% sRGB IPS displays unlike the 45% NTSC ones used by Sager. https://www.amazon.com/Eluktronics-N850HK1-Premium-Gaming-Laptop/dp/B01N7YTLD0/
