Just open a ticket with CS and they'll take care of it. I would recommend plugging it in IF you can and doing a backup as promptly as you can just in case they can't recover your data.

I had to rma my WD Black after it started making weird noises that I didn't like. Now the little plastic tab that protects the SATA Port broke off and is stuck in the SATA cable. I didn't purchases the drive more than 5 years ago so I'm thoery I'm still under warranty, but I don't know there policy on returning it multiple times.

All drives will make the clicking noise. It's the "rough" actuator being used.

That first drive was exceptinally loud. The replacement i got was much better, but now I'm returning this one.
