which Ultrawide would you pick?

Minemine12

so I got a new GPU a month or two back and now I want to upgrade the display. I was thinking about getting either the Asus PG348q or the Acer z35P.

I havent seen a ton of info on the Acer as It is fairly new but the Asus one has been around the block for a year or so and it looks like a real beast.

I dont follow displays to closely but I did see that they were making a 4K 144hz monitor soonish but i havent seen too much about it and it doesnt seem like they are really doing anything with ultrawides either. might be a stupid or already answered question but im not sure why they wouldnt try and build this market as there seems to be a lot of Older 1080p monitors

whats your thoughts on these?

I would personally buy the Asus PG348q.

Cheaper and does the same thing - that and I've had better experience with Asus products than Acer.

I have never used Acer before but every Asus thing ive ever had has been great. I have heard that Acer makes good monitors though. Also Newegg has the z35p as being 100$ cheaper for some reason

That reminds me, of course try to use a pricewatcher to get whatever you choose for even cheaper.

Honestly, the Acer one isn't any special (one inch more but do you really need that for $300 more?). The price for the Asus is right and that is really what should matter here.

Oh, curious. I was on another site and it showed a similar one for cheaper not that exact one. My bad.

In this case then, for pure specs the Acer is better.
