Mouse staircase effect in games

Squanchy

Hey all,

Had a question, I notice from time to time that games have a somewhat of a staircase effect with moving the mouse, kinda is annoying. Is there anyway to remove/reduce the effect? Heard something about changing the DPI does that actually help? Even at the desktop I can see it, but its almost not noticeable, gotta actually look closely at the cursor.

Do you mean that the cursor is aliased or that the frames are tearing?

Frames aren't tearing.. guess the cursor is aliased, Like I move it slowly and it's like a small staircase. Most noticeable in Witcher 3 and fallout 4... Have gsync on atm so 100% sure isn't frames tearing.
