In terms of price, I'd be willing to go up to 1500€-ish for one of the bigger models if I have to. But everything below that is highly appreciated.

The new Asus Zenbook Pro seems really interesting. It's in your interest to wait a bit until a few people have tested it out.

Otherwise, get a XPS15 off Dell Outlet or somewhere.

Hi there!

So I've been on the lookout for a good note-/ultrabook for a while now, especially since I'm not really gaming anymore and feel like my current PC setup is just wasting space. I've been drawing a lot with Krita lately, but I might jump up to Adobe at some point in the future so I think I'd benefit from a dedicated GPU. Size wise, something between 13" - 15" would be perfect. Build quality and solid inputs (along with 'good' IO) are also important, and ideally it would have
USB-C. I'm really intrigued by the Xiaomi Mi Air 13, the i5 model. The build quality is great, IO is really solid, along with a good screen, a moderate dGPU (940MX) and a great price (~850€ including import costs). But, as you might've noticed, it has to be imported via a site like tradingshenzhen.net which sounds easy enough, but every time I've ordered something from outside of the EU it got stuck in customs and since I'm not entirey sure if the notebook fulfills all the necessary German safety regulations I don't really want to risk it getting seized or something. Other notebooks I've had my eyes on are:

- Razer Blade (Stealth)

- Alienware 13 / 15 (expensive af though)

- Dell XPS 13 / 15

- Asus ZenBook 3
I do realize that, with exception of the Blade and XPS 15 none of the above feature dGPUs, which is why I'm turning to you guys for help. Do you have any recommendations, maybe even personal experiences with these devices?
In terms of price, I'd be willing to go up to 1500€-ish for one of the bigger models if I have to. But everything below that is highly appreciated.

Also, please *no MacBooks* . I really dislike mac OS.

Thanks in advance!

This is probably what I'll end up doing. Though I'm not sure if Dell offers the same outlet deals here in Germany.

MSI GS63VR or Gigabyte Aero 14 if you want to do a little bit of gaming on the side. (GTX 1060)

XPS 15 or Yoga 720 for less gaming (GTX 1050)

Yoga 710 meets your 940MX requirement.

Can you import from UK without paying taxes? or VAT or what not?

That I don't know - but since all of those "china import sites" route their packages through the UK I think that would work
