Should I go micro ATX or mini ITX for an 1155 HTPC?

I have an i5-2500 sitting here collecting dust, and u wanna put it in an HTPC for my living room. But I'm having some difficulty choosing between mATX and mITX. Are ITX 1155 boards still expensive, even in the used market?

ITX LGA1155 boards are pretty rare but they dont go for unresonable prices, just look them up on Ebay if you want one. i would definatly go for ITX if its an HTPC because of the size

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

If you buy m-itx you can get a much smaller case for it.
