Would it make sense to RAID 0 my PC?

So currently I have 2 different HDDs in my PC.  One is a 1TB WD Blue which is my main drive for windows and all my files, and the second drive is a 2TB Seagate Barracuda that I got out of an old system for free.  I currently don't use that one much at all.  Is it possible to set up both those drives in a RAID 0 config to use for all my stuff, and would it make any sense?

It's possible but you'll only get 2TB of total space. RAID 0 uses the lowest common denominator of the drives so in this case the 1TB drive.

I wouldn't recommend putting the drives in RAID 0 though, better to save up for a 120GB SSD instead.

I don't recommend using BIOS raid. It's bad. I've had 2x 250GB both failed. Also, you'd need same drives with the same capacity.

Not really worth it in my opinion.

You'd lose 1TB of total storage space, double the chance of losing data because of hardware failure and that Barracuda will have its performance limited by the slower WD blue drive.

If you want to make a significant improvement to your system I'd get a cheap 128Gb SSD.

Does you mum know you're here?

No point. You'd end up with 2TB of unreliable storage that is only a bit faster than the single 2TB drive is on its own.

As people are saying, you would only have 1TB usable per hard drive for a total of 2TB. Not sure what the person above is talking about when he says not to use your on board raid controller (bios raid). Thats exactly what you want to do.

To RAID-0 you really need two of the same SSD/HDD's to get maximum performance gains but half reliability (twice the chance of breaking).
