are you in kali?

with kali and wifi hacking, you have to give it the wifi card with usb or pcie passthrough and can't give it the nic via network.

My is recognizing and using my wifi card as Ethernet. I was putting my card into monitor mode and somehow it sees it as eth0 instead on Wlan0. I don't know when this happened and I checked all the setting in Virtual box to see what the problem is but I couldn't find a solution. I want to have the Vm recognize the card no ethernet

Thanks - Kestrel

-Thanks

Yeah just try to unplug it and plug it back in. Fixes most problems the first time.

If that doesn't work go to your device manager and look at your network adapters.

Easy fix that's worth a try. Go to advanced settings for the VM and make sure that the "Cable Connected" box is ticked.

Thanks everyone for your help, I have had a lot of problems running Kali out of a Vm so I think I will just dual boot it.

-Thanks
