Internet fix?

So my Nintendo Switch can't connect to my wifi unless its a certain distance away (no idea why probably the chip in it) but I was wondering if I could share my PC's connection with it through usb or something. I have a USB to ethernet but its ancient and not working on the switch.

us an old router to convert wifi to ethernet

Was thinking that but its kinda big and clunky, and I have only the old ugly blue linksys ones lol

yeh, just hide it somewhere and im sure the linksys router is fine. You can always try a powerline connection or buy a new usb ethernet adapter.

wait did you test with other devices? maybe its the router

also by distance do you cross walls?

Its not the router as every other device I have works. and yes like 2-3 walls.
