Help with making a google chrome extension that changes webpages look.

scooterandy11

I want to create a google chrome extension a bit like BetterTwitch.tv that can change the look of a website. Where in the world do I get started with this?!

If you're looking to just change the appearance of a website, Stylish already exists. If you want to change the functionality, Greasemonkey exists. Here's a theme for Stylish that I'm running with on youtube:

They have a 'store' for themes at userstyles.org, and you can also make your own if you know CSS.

It's completely blown out of proportion. Also if you're the least bit worried about data gathering then you should go live in a cave a 1000Km from the nearest establishment simply because every device and every entity gathers information these days. In the current era privacy is just fallacy and nothing more.
