Server Wisdom Would be appriciated

Hey, guys, I am kinda new to having a home server/NAS I could use some advice from anyone with a lot of experience if you have discord please pm me ^^. I may be planning on switching to unraid instead of windows and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why are you so set on using unRAID if you already have a functioning windows server?

what are you doing with the server

if the server is doing what you need it to do then you don't need to change anything

if you have windows on it and it's fitting your needs, keep it on windows, only change os if your current os doesn't have certain features that you need that can't be done with first party (microsoft) or third party (not microsoft) software
