Those fans are garbage. Terrible excuse for a "quiet" edition fan. For that price you could rather easily get something far better. Check out fractal's or Be Quiets airflow optimized fans.

I have no other issues with anything there really. Not my personally taste in monitor, but ultrawide 1080p isn't bad. Also not my personal preference for storage, i prefer HGST and their industry leading reliability, but they're typically a few bucks more expensive so w/e floats your boat.

:( nevermind then. I would get a non-gigabyte AMD GPU though and try to get a 1500x instead of the 1400 at the very least.

Hgst is hitachi right? I'll check bequiet and fractal. My friend has the 140mm version of those fans and they are pretty quiet so I'll look at the reviews

Trust me with the corsair fans. you're rolling the dice to get one that isn't akin to a small biplane trying to take off.

The 140mm variant is far quieter, but the same can be said for almost every single 140mm variant of a fan. And yes, HGST is hitachi,

I did not see that actually. Avoid gigabrick amd cards like the plague. Terrible fans, poor vrm design and power delivery, just all around bottom of the bin cards for amd for some reason.

Ok. Are the be quiet pure wings a good choice? Two of them are cheaper than the corsair two pack.

The BQ Pure wings are great honestly. Not quite as flashy as the corsair af series, but far quieter.

Yea quietness is a big factor for me since this is going to be my first build switching over from an iPad Air 2. My whole family is 100% apple with the exclusion of my dads work provided laptop which is actually pretty quiet (Lenovo). Macs and apple products are pretty quiet so i dont want my pc to stick out and sound like a jet engine. The funny thing is that my computer would be the fastest in the house with the second fastest device being my moms iPad Pro coming in a distant second.

+1 for AF120's being absolute trash.

+1 for Gigabyte AMD GPUs being a bad choice.

Silencio 352 is a nice case, but a little overpriced IMO. I would not bother wasting $100+ on that 29" 2560x1080 panel. It's barely bigger than the 25" variant. I went and seen the 25UM58-P and the 29UM58-P in person and went with the 25UM58-P because the size difference is minimal, and absolutely not worth 60%+ extra cost.

Agree Agree Agree. I have Pure Wings 2's in my system after having gone through a bunch of Corsair and Cooler Master offerings and binning them because I hated them. I love my Pure Wings 2's and I'd only part with them for some SilentWings 3's, but those are pretty expensive.

Thanks. I'm not sure about 25" ultrawides since 24 inch monitors are bigger and cheaper but less pixel dense of course (I'm talking about 1080p ultrawide and 24"). Also i cant go with the m65 since i already have a logitech k380 keyboard for my ipad and it'll look weird with a wired mouse and wireless keyboard. The k380 isnt a case keyboard, its a seperate keyboard that connects over Bluetooth. Also is the 8 gb 580 worth the 30 over the 4gb?

Trust me, the 29" version of the ultrawide is not worth $100 more, not even remotely.

Yeah, stick with the Logitech mouse if you want. I was just recommending an alternative.

There's no need to get the 8GB 580 over the 4GB really, you'd be fine with the 4GB. However, $30 isn't that much IMO, and if it were me, I'd probably just spring for the 8GB variant.

Yea, ive got a budget of $1250 for a whole setup excluding desk chair and keyboard. Even with the 8gb version ive still got $60 for games. If i do get that 25 inch ultrawide, i can get good speakers and dont have to cringe every time i hear something without my headphones. There is a 24 inch freesync monitor for $140 but its a tn panel and i have a standing/sit desk so majority of the time, I'm not gonna be on the sweet spot and I'm gonna have to crick my neck and back to get good colors.

Actually, the cheapest ips with freesync is the ultrawide i put in. I could get a samsung monitor with a va panel although its curved so I'm not sure if it will be a bad experience if I'm not within the sweet spot.

Bit ironic that you're paying a $100 premium for FREEsync lol. But yeah, that's a good point. I agree on the IPS point, I refuse to buy anything other than IPS or PLS. The size increase might not be worth the extra $100, but Freesync sure as hell is nice, so if you can justify the extra $100, go for it.

Here are my ips options;

$100 21.5" 1080p hp no freesync leaves me cash for good speakers and more games

$160 25" 1080p ultrawide lg no freesync cash for good speakers and games

$260 29" 1080p ultrawide lg freesync decent build in speakers dont have the cash for good speakers.

$120 24" 1080p acer no freesync leaves me cash for speakers and games

$165 27" 1080p samsung freesync curved, not sure if it has speakers and its a bit big for 1080p so I'm worried about the pixels being visible and it being curved which means i may have issues since ill have to be in the sweet spot

so ill have to think whether i wanna trade 140 for freesync, slightly bigger screen with it being ultrawide, and shitty speakers. I'm eliminating the hp, 25 inch lg, and the samsung since a 24 inch monitor has about the same screen space as a 25 inch ultrawide

It's got double the cache of a 1400, too. It performs considerably higher. I really think it's worth it.
