New monitor but wich one ?

WeFee

Hi.

I recently bought a GTX 1070 and I feel like my monitor (BenQ Rl2455hm, 60hz, 1080p) is not cutting it anymore.

So I have been looking around at both 4k 60hz, 1440p 75hz and 1440p 144hz but cant really decide on which would be the best choice for me.

I play games like H1z1, Forza Horizon (On Xbox one),GTA 5 and Call of duty on Xbox.

My specs are: i5 4570

                       GTX 1070

                       8gb ddr3

And these are the monitors I have been looking at:

I don't think 144Hz would be a benefit based on the games you listed. I think 1440p at 75Hz is the sweet spot.

That or a 2560x1080p75hz ultrawide, the GTX 1070 is not a 4k card... even if you can run games on 60fps by cranking down the quality, not worth it in my opinion.

It is a good monitor, if it fits your budget nicely go for it.

The backlight bleed was in just a few models made up to december of last year, as long as this isn't refurbished you should be fine.

It fits my needs really nicely, but I am just worried that I will get one with backlight bleed and since my current monitor doesn't have any at all, Im sure I would notice it right away. But if u say they have fixed the problem then it would be a great monitor for me.
