New case fans

Hey everyone,

I need new case fans for my Rosewill Thor V2 as the bearings are going bad. I was looking at corsairs af140mm but I'm only finding static pressure and I wanted to hook them up to the built in fan speed controller. Would I still be able to change the speed with them connected even though they're static pressure or would I need pwm fans?

Have you tried contacting Rosewill for replacement fans?

Static pressure is the amount of resistance fan can deal with. PWM is a digital signal that can be used to vary fan speed and is one way to power a fan. They two are not related nor mutually exclusive.

PWM is not necessary for controlling fan speeds as DC works as well. PWM is just popular for being able to reach lower fan speeds.
