The Vive isn't that great. If you need a new phone, I'd go for that. However I wouldn't buy the 3t, as we're honestly not that far away from the 4. For a college student? The Vive is completely pointless.

So hey guys, I have a usable iphone 6s but it's dying, like the battery doesn't last for 1/3 day with casual use and the home button and audio jack are broken as well.

Then I decided to beg my mom for a new phone, but soon I found out I could save the chance and beg for a Vive instead. A phone or A VR device, which one would be more important for me as a college student?
