1440, 144hz, 27inch for UNDER 500 bucks.

Hello There.

I am looking for a new monitor.

Here are my requirements:

- 27 inch

- 1440p

- Above 100 hertz

- Below 5 ms response time

- Cheaper than 500 bucks but below 400 is much better for me.

- IPS panel and good viewing angles.

Its very hard for me to find a monitor like that which is availalbe in EU.

I am planning on using it for programming, gaming hereNthere and maybe some graphical design.

What do you suggest I leave out of my requirements, to get the monitor for my budget. And do you have any monitor suggestions?

Thanks.

- William

AOC AG241QG - G-Sync

AOC AG241QX - Free-Sync

The 27" are above $500

Maybe the Free-Sync AOC AG271QX will be in the $500 range.

Dell S2417DG - G-Sync

Take IPS away, and take those mentioned above.

Acer predator has also some nice models.

If you want IPS, better save up another 200-300 bucks. For 500 you will not find anything like that.

Thanks for the answes. Definitely taken into consideration. I might just save some more and go with 1080p 24 inch, with 144hz, 1ms and G sync I think.

Don't ever buy 1080p G-Sync monitors. Not worth.

For almost the same Price, you can get a Dell S2417dg. G_Sync, 1440p, 165 Hz.

it's at 380-420 USD~

First one is a TN Panel with 1440p WQHD resolution.

Second one is a VA Panel with Quantum Dots (aka, very great contrast, and colors), with only 1080p.

What would you prefer? A VA Panel, or sharper resolution?
