Planar IX2850 Problems

Hi! I have a 4k Planar monitor. I went to turn on my computer and only one of my two monitors displayed my desktop. I later plugged the monitor that was not working into my Lenovo Laptop and the monitors back light lit up. Just wondering if anyone had any idea why the monitor isnt working. Thank!
