What about the motherboard itself? Does it support your specific RAM? Did you check the list for it?

Well, I just found out that the 2GB 1333Mhz stick underclocks itself to 1067Mhz... The motherboard works fine with the other cpu (e3400) it originally came with. That cpu did accept the 8GB 1333mhz in both slots...

So, the problem is, the computer can boot with 1 stick of 2GB 1333Mhz DDR3 ram. But it won't with the 2 sticks of 4GB 1333Mhz DDR3...

Doesn't it support the 4GB sticks?

I already tried it with 2 brands of sticks. 2 from kingston and 2 HyperX Fury from my own pc. And all sticks work in other PCs.

Have you verified that both sticks work? Try different memory slots.

I have. All sticks work in other computers, even the slots. Because with the old Celeron E3400 it works with 8GB.

No, the sticks are from the same brand and same kit. And they work perfectly in other computers.

Just tried that now, didn't work. Does the cpu even support 4GB ram sticks?

From what I can tell, this guy has the same problem as I am experiencing right now.

Maybe the damn thing only support 2GB sticks... That would be sad because I only have 2 slots for ram...
