As title says, I would love for it to be IPS and 1440P if there are good ones otherwise a nicely calibrated 1080P will also be good

+1 for the Asus MG279Q.  I have the GSync version and it's hands down the best monitor available today IMO.

LG34UM68 is great. I've had mine for about 6 months and it's fantastic. Freesync, ultrawide with a great stand with all the adjustments, and it comes calibrated out of the box. It's only 2560x1080 but I manage with that, and you need a very beefy machine for WQHD.

Laptop: Asus GA502DU

RAM: 16GB DDR4 | CPU: Ryzen 3750H | GPU: GTX 1660ti

I mean, I'm quite content with around 50FPS at 1440P with Witcher 3 and Far Cry Primal on my RX 480

What settings are you on? My overclock 470  8GB does 50-55 in Far Cry Primal at 2560x1080, but I do play at ultra/very high.

So its an overclocked Sapphire Nitro+ 4GB at 1366mhz, 1890mhz on the memory, 40% extra power limit playing at high I got a minimum of 49fps, average of 57 fps and a max of 61fps with 77% VRAM usage

I have the Asus VX24AH monitor right now, which is gorgeous but since it doesn't have freesync, when I dip into thr 40's its not fun
