*SOLVED!* Update EVGA Z170 Stinger Bios without CPU?

I'm in the process of gathering my hardware for my first build. I have a EVGA Z170 Stinger Motherboard, and they have just released a Bios Update for the upcoming Kaby Lake CPUs (v2.0: http://www.evga.com/support/download/showdlinfo.aspx?id=11644&type=N&acctype=BIOS&accversion=*BETA*%202.00&part_number=111-SS-E172)

I haven't bought a CPU yet, but i'm planning on getting the Kaby Lake i5 7600k.

Since the Motherboard was bought before the Bios update was released, how do I update it so that it is compatible with a Kaby Lake CPU? Can I update the Motherboard Bios without a CPU?

I've heard of 'flashing' with a USB but i'm unfamiliar with the steps involved.

Any help appreciated!

Not sure if you can without a CPU, but if you can't, just get this CPU and update it. https://pcpartpicker.com/product/kxs8TW/intel-cpu-bx80662g3900

Hmmm I was considering this. I guess i'll have to wait until Kaby Lake is officially released and see if the price (+ a cheap celeron) is worth it over a skylake chip.

Thanks.

Update: I contacted EVGA and they said they can send me a new updated Bios Chip. Not sure if many other motherboards are like this, but the EVGA Stinger Z170 has a nice insert mechanism for the Bios Chip!
