Oh you won't have any issue there it's very small just make sure there isn't a burr that sticks up.

I would like to ask if it is okay if this little dent is there in the middle of the IHS (near the " CORE " lettering).

I guess it has been there for along time, but I dropped the cpu box (where it comes with stock fan) on it's side today, I doubt that dropping it onto the side of the box could've made this dent.

CPU ran petfectly 4 days ago.

I don't really see it but the IHS is made of fairly thick copper so it wouldn't be an issue.

It's just under the letter "E" from word "Core".. It catches eye ofcourse better if you physically look at the IHS.

Anyway thanks.

you'd have to get an angle where we can see it but it shouldn't be an issue.

Here you go, better picture. I've installed this cpu only 2 times and as far as I can remember It had this exact dent there from the shop I guess.

From that picture it looks like its taken a chunk of the heat spreader off. That should still be fine though.

Oh okay, it's smooth as butter though then I'm good, hopefully person who's buying it from me won't see it as major disturbance or defect.. Anyway cheers :)
