Anyone want to recommend a wireless adapter that actually works in Windows 10?

Dude, at this point I'm open to anything. As long as you've personal owned it and used it.

Belkin F9L1101v1 (USB 2.0)

It's good enough that I:

Ran my 5930K build on Wifi with it and could game online.

Refuse to purchase a USB to Ethernet adapter when I need to troubleshoot network issues on ethernetless laptops.

Prefer it to any non Intel PCIe wifi adapter.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

Have you found an adapter that doesn't work...? I've never seen one that Windows doesn't automatically pull a driver for, let alone not work at all with the proper driver. These are ones I have in my drawer that I know work with Win10.

Gigabyte GC-WB300D

Alfa AWUS036NHR

TP Link TL-WN725N

Cisco WUSB600N

I'm honestly curious, please list the adapters you have tried before.

Yep, the most popular wifi adapter that Newegg sells doesn't work in Windows 10, with a TP Link Rep even telling someone flat out that it won't work in Windows 10. Once you start scrolling through the 1 and 2 star reviews for these adapters then you'll start seeing just how many seem to hate Windows 10.

I'd use an Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6250 AGN adapter. It has something Called WiMax which you don't really need but it does infact work with Windows 10 despite it's age.

(Note, you will need an mini PCIE slot on your MOBO or an adapter to use it)

My procrastination is the bane of my existence.

I make games and stuff in my spare time.
