Looking for a wireless HDMI... Thing?

Well, here is what i want to accomplish: I will son mount a TV to my wall, but i cannot connect it with a cable in a nice and/or good way. So now I would either lie to direct connect my PC (about 4m away) or my Macbook, which i could place alot closer. What options are there or is there not a good way around a cable?

Edit: Manly to stream Netflix/Youtube stuff. Maybe some games in the future.

Stream it to the TV maybe? What is he trying to do? Gaming? Web browsing? Watching movie?

Do not know right now, but it is a pretty old "normal" Flatscreen, could be around 6 years old now.

Don't think it will have internet connection

For multimedia purpose then Steam Link? Can you at least plug a sma;l HDMI wire to TV?

Hmm that looks great for games, but as for the start, watching movies and browsing, I think the chromecast is a better choice for me. Are there useful alternatives as far as you know? Or should I just go with the Google/Steam stuff?

Steam Link is for games and only support Steam games

Chromecast is multimedia but not sure bout games.
