LG 29UM58, can't get 75hz using Intel Graphics

RRGT19

Hi,

I'm using a LG 29UM58 with the HDMI cable that came with it and Windows only shows 60hz.

Why?, this monitor says that can provide 75hz

Or I need to use a Graphics card to get that?

can someone explain me please?.

What's your motherboard an CPU? Refresh rate also depends on iGPU and what the MB manufacturer sets for the video ports

I5-4690

Sorry for Spanish, I'm copy-pasting on the mobile :P

RGB = VGA

So,

The motherboard can't provide 75hz?.

Do I need to use a GPU like the GTX1060?

Yep, no 75 Hz at that resolution, I'm afraid that's the case

What If I use a GTX1060 or GTX1080?... Will I get 75hz at this resolution?.

Yes.

For reference a gtx1060 supports up to 7680x4320@60Hz, and up to 240 Hz on lower resolutions

Good to know that.

bought a GTX1080 now...
