NZXT Manta

MassiMoo

Hi all, I have a doubt on NZXT Manta m-ITX case.

My question is whether Maximus VIII Gene motherboard (mATX) could fit into NZXT Manta case perfectly just like other m-itx motherboards do.

Thanks in advance.

So long as it's mITX, it will fit.

The motherboard is mATX, instead of mITX; but the case is mITX.

That's why I need confirmation.

You basically just said it yourself

"Does this mATX board fit into the Manta like mITX boards do?"

Obviously it does not.

Ah, I guess I have to do some modding on the case.

not sure if it's possible to ever get the board in there though, even with modding.

Unless you don't need a graphics card. or cooling. or a PSU.

If you REALLY want an ROG motherboard and you don't want to switch out the case, go with the mITX board Asus Maximus VIII Impact.

I highly doubt you'll be able to force the Gene in with modding.

I have looked into Impact as well, but I need a m.2 slot for my Samsung 950 Pro 512 nvme.

Then take the ITX pro gaming. It has a 2280 slot while the impact apparently only has 2242
