need dirt cheap shuttle case cpu cooling solution

trve

hey guys

so i got a pure aluminium shuttle case (mini itx) for 3€ recently and ran into a slight problem: the gpu is gonna be located right above (+-4cm) the cpu, meaning even the stock cooler won't fit.

my first idea was to put my 212 evo in the back of the case and linking it and the cpu with solid copper sheets. after some research i found out that solid copper doesn't conduct heat too well though and heatpipes are expensive as fuck...

second idea: taking a gpu cooler for the cpu and bending the heatpipes so that the radiator stands vertically next to the gpu.

i could get one of those gainward phantom coolers for like 7€

now my question is: will a gpu cooler specified for lets say a gtx 560 ti sufficiently cool something like an i7 2600 or i5 3570 with 2 80mm case fans mounted to it? i'm not going to overclock because h61 board.

if not, are there any decent low profile cpu coolers with under 40mm height out there for under 20€?

any help would be greatly appreciated

cheers

Or you can get a pcie riser cable to relocate the gpu so you can use a proper cooler for the job ;)
