Platinum vs titanium PSU

I'm looking at two power supplys, the evga P2 750W psu and the evga T2 750w power supply is it worth splashing out the extra money on the titanium for more efficiency and reliability ?

efficiency? depends on your electricity cost per watt, but most probably no

reliability? both are fine choices, on par in this category i'd say

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Paying more for a higher efficient unit isn't really worth it for the majority of people. Unless you are running your pc 24/7 every day then the savings will be pretty small.

How much is the G2 750W ? And how much extra are the P2 and T2 ?

The more efficient models are for workstations, servers, etc. where energy costs will actually matter because they are in constant use. More than likely in your situation a gold or even bronze will work fine.

It's not going to make a difference. Both are excellent, get the cheapest one.

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

They're both great; just get whichever one is cheaper.

Please try to look through the subforums and post your queries under the appropriate ones. This should be in 'Cases and Power Supplies'.

@XdoniasRadeon- Please avoid reposting questions. They create clutter, and duplicates take our attention away from other queries.
