Looking for Dedicated Server Providers! Need help choosing one

Hey guys and girls,

I am currently looking for a Server Provider. It will be used for hosting game servers and other stuff(Mainly gaming servers).
I was looking at OVH Gaming Dedicated for $79.00 a month. Server hosted in NA/Canada pls. I am looking for the best I can get within $100 a month Preferably nothing over $80.00

Any other Server Providers you will recommend or will the OVH be just fine. It seems to be realllllly good (Anti-DDoS, 32GB RAM, free-unlimited OS reinstalls, 2*240GB SSDs and 500GB Backup)

Thanks in advance!

Server Use:

3 or more Minecraft Servers

1-2 GMOD Servers

2-3 CSGO Servers

1 TS3 Server

More in the future

How many game servers, and what games are you planning on hosting on it?

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

OVH has great servers and prices, and not so great customer service (but I still live with it :P)

Only customer support i would need is if the Dedi Server itself has problems. Should be good :)

I would recommend checking out QuadraNet, they have some cheap dedicated server specials and all of their servers come with some level of DDOS protection (albeit small, still better than nothing and no need to worry about bandwidth overages either). Here are some cheap servers they don't advertise on their website (in LA only): http://banners.quadranet.com/lowendbox2016/

If you need something on the east coast, the cheapest option would be Dacentec. They are dirt cheap and for the price, they are much better than Online.net and OVH/Kimsufi. $30 a month for 2x hard drives with hardware RAID (HP P400), that's pretty hard to beat.

Thats only 8GB RAM sadly and well, OVH seems preety solid since its good DDOS protection, 32GB RAM etc. Dacentec has a better offer 48GB RAM but I think CA will give better ping for some of my members as well ( will keep an eye on this host tho)

Do you actually need more than 8GB of RAM?

Recommended RAM

CS:GO = ~1GB (32 slot, 128 tick)

Minecraft = 3GB (30-60 players)

GMOD = 2GB (11 players)

That would leave you with over 2GB left over for the OS and other things. :D

Yea, I might do 3 MC Servers and a HUB, so that alone will be ~12GB to ensure a smooth experience with all the premium plugins.

CS:GO: 2-3 Server- ~2 Servers

GMOD: ~5GB (Have clan members that will also be playing)

And any others I will be doing.

Thanks for clarifying. I would update your original post to explain this so others are aware.
