HTPSish machine????

So, I want to get a machine that is I guess an HTPC. I need it to run, Netflix, youtube while running a skype call while sharing my screen. I am not sure if the screen sharing makes a difference, the other thing that would be nice if it could do is Steam in Home streaming (not while sharing screen). I am open to finding older/used parts or machines off ebay (like scrapyard wars).

Can leave it as is and find and adapter for the Display port outuput to HDMI. Would be a gamble on whether the display could support 1080p monitors.

 

For what you are asking I personally would try to spring for a first or second gen i3 with at least 4GB of RAM. Graphics card should only be necessary if you have no integrated graphics.
