Are the rest of the parts OK?

i3
B85 or H81 board
8GB RAM (2x4 preferable for dual-channel)
1TB HDD
120GB SSD
R9 380 4G from XFX, PowerColor, Sapphire, MSI
XFX 550W
Any case you like

That's what I'd call good for the money

hi there!

I've recently put together my first custom pc-build. I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. I had some inspiration from another builder but I changed some things so I can make it in my country (Belgium). We have a high-end resailer here (coolblue.be if you need to know) so I can buy them all on 1 site. I went for an AMD build because I could save some extra bucks on the motherboard and CPU, as this is somewhat of a budget build (under 800€)

Here is what I put together:

CPU b7cc78a895353ba7afb802b3bf26d3d7.med.256 $124.50 Buy
CPU Cooler ddea57de9797549e80d05fb3acb2e83d.med.256 $29.44 Buy
Motherboard 2a78277e18b3370cadb1dd2ff04dedd5.med.256 $70.94 Buy
Memory d4bb49510755b78e1a15d975ded07e06.med.256 $47.99 Buy
Storage 381207fcd3c13610d787357c9cae8627.256p.jp $46.89 Buy
Video Card e93cd5fa283b74c5c7d99afc8fa1af5c.med.256 $204.99 Buy
Case ec0c48e59d962ddfc9b3206109c36e6a.med.256 $94.99 Buy
Power Supply 48a3d437b12ff7c74c4efe9ae1e51ade.med.256

Feel free to leave me some comments on the parts if needed

Have a nice day!

*edit*

maybe I want to point out that the case I have is a Cooler Master Silencio 452, I couldn't find it so I went with the 652s. I hope this is not a problem?

If you haven't bought it already DO NOT BUY ANY OF THIS.

The PSU is quite poor quality, the R9 380 for 170$ is faster and the CPU is abysmal

Maybe go for an Intel i3-3220, R9 380 and a Corsair CX500(M)?

I say jiggly-bytes when I see "GB".

It goes down better than you would expect.

Thanks for explaining why it's a "no" from you! You are very constructive and informative! -_-

Ivy i3s are quite weak. The R9 380 part is good but CX are not recommended for a system with a dGPU. We've gone over this dozens and dozens of times.

Depends on what you need. I'd say an i3 4160 because you can upgrade to an i5 or i7 if need be later on. IF you don't plan on upgrading then the FX 6300 is also an option.

I am planning to upgrade this, so I'll then switch to intel! thanks. Is the case big enough for all the parts?

Case is the last thing you want to dump money on. Get a reliable PSU such as:
XFX (SeaSonic rebrands) 550W
SeaSonic (all round good units) 500W or more
Super Flower (all are good) 500W+
EVGA G2/GS/GQ/B2/P2/PS (Avoid their B1, G1, W1 and NEX series)
Corsair RMx (avoid CX, VS, CS)
Antec (Avoid Basiq, rest are good)

You want a 4GB R9 380 for future proofing as games now use more than 2GB VRAM. The R9 380 about 15% faster than a 960 and usually cheaper. Just avoid Asus and Gigabyte

I did'nt find the motherboard that you suggested, is this a good one? MSI H81M-E34

Go for the P33 board.

That also works yes but I'd say go for H81-P33 if cheaper.

As for CPU, cheapest i3 4000 series.
