Custom Mechanical Keyboard

I know people have done this but I haven't found a decent guide. I want RGB lighting, Browns, and a modular interface at the top of the case allowing adding in modules (An idea I had), but the main reason I want to do this is i want a custom case to match my new PC build and a custom key placement. I don't care about the cost and I believe I have the skils to do all the sodering (if I dont my dad does). It would be awesome if someone could give some links to guides and parts that would be awesome. Thanks!

I've seen people do LED lighting (Not RGB, maybe non of that), but the modular interface was going to be holes with magnets when I can put something like a place for a charger and stand for my iPod  so I can watch videos and listen to music. It would be hooked up to a Pi. See what I'm saying?
