Good alternative to Skype

Hi so im looking for a good alternative to Skype for video calling and screen shearing.

 

i want it to be as light weight as possible as Skype is currently capping out the CPU of my gf's laptop during a video call.

 

And its pretty much rendering the laptop unusable during the call so im looking for a more light weight alternative.

Use Teamviewer for screen share and Teamspeak for voice :D

Try Discord, really great. But Discord has no screen sharing.

Slack? I've never used it, but it's gaining traction.

i am using discord but it also lacks video calling which is more important then screen sharing.

as far as i know slack has nether screen sharing nor video calling 

 

Use Teamviewer for screen share and Teamspeak for voice :D

 

yeah i could do that but it seems really wonky and finicky there has to be a better way
