Would the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's benefit from a Xonar STX essence?

I'm fairly certain they will benefit to some point, but either way this year I will be getting some PC 350's from Sennheiser which I know will be good with the Xonar STX.

Considering how "High end " you headphones are (not in the sennheiser range of products, but as far as headphones in general go) you'd most deffinitely benefit. Happy ovner of HD380s myself and notice a BIG difference between oboard laptop sound, onboard PC, 80ish dollar soound card and hooking it up to my AVR. This ofcourse applies if you enjoy listening to music. The sound is a lot clearer and bass more defined. Difference is a lot smaller in gaming tho...
